Thirteen Case Maker Academy Cadets braved snow and sleet to continue their training this week at Beechwood's Kids' Bible Study. Our super sharp students learned about four important questions jurors are instructed to consider when listening to eye witness testimony in a trial. We used those skills to investigate the credibility of the witnesses who wrote the Gospels. Team 1 (Sawyer, Leah, and Kate) won the breakout competition, and the cadets saw clearly how the authors pass every test!
Our students continue to impress us with their enthusiasm. Ten-year-old Colby announced that he read the whole book, wrote a book report for school, and received an excellent 100%! What a way to boldly share about the reliability of the Scriptures with others!

Nineteen curious cadets were present for this week's Case Maker's Academy at Beechwood! We were excited to have 2 new cadets join us: Liza Pierce and Camryn Taylor. This class was rich with great questions, new discoveries, and revealing conversations. Our cadets learned the difference between direct and indirect evidence in a crime scene. We used those skills to examine four indirect evidences for the existence of God: the universe had a beginning, it is incredibly fine-tuned, the design of DNA, and the existence of moral truth. Some of the great questions we had and discussed included:
Who created God? (Reid Burgess)
Is God a spirit? (Cole Vincent)
What is an atheist?
Who was Darwin?
Our cadets are super smart kids. They are reading their books and coming to class eager to continue their training in becoming Case Makers for Christ!

Members and guests have TWO opportunities to celebrate Easter at Beechwood Country Club! Begin the day with a "Sonrise" Service at 6:30 AM followed by a delicious breakfast, led by Pastor Wallace Phillips and catered by Chef Joanna.
Then, enjoy another delightful meal at our Easter lunch buffet with your family and then get a photo with the Easter Bunny! Fun, festive activities will be available for the children.
