The Unexpected. In short, when you make a journey to sleep in a hotel and you end up in a stable…that’s the unexpected! But it provided a beautiful picture of God’s plan: The King of Glory entering into our world in the most humble way imaginable. God has used it as a timeless reminder of who Jesus was and how He came humbly to serve.
So, what lessons can we draw from Mary and Joseph’s extraordinary circumstances and travel during the first Christmas season?
